Supergirl Jam This Sunday!

The 5th Annual Supergirl Jam, the action sports industry's only large-scale, all-female competition and lifestyle series, is returning to Venice Beach on Sunday, August 21.
 

 

Top female athletes in skateboarding and snowboarding will come together to compete in unique competition set-ups on the boardwalk in the heart of Venice Beach.
 

 

The snowboard rail-jam contest will feature a 28-foot tall course onto which 80,000 pounds of snow will be packed and ready for the ladies to bring their winter slope style to the beach!
 

 

The Supergirl skateboard jam will feature Street and Best Trick competitions with the world's top pro and amateur female skaters.

 

The event kicks off at the corner of Windward Ave and the boardwalk (next to the basketball courts) at 12:00 p.m. and runs until 5:00 p.m. A festival village and autograph signings with the pros will be open throughout the day.
 

 

With some of the best female athletes in action sports, 80,000 pounds of REAL SNOW on the beach, and Street & Best Trick skate contests, the 5th Annual Supergirl Jam is an event you won't want to miss!!
 

 

The 5th Annual Supergirl Jam event series is produced by ASA Entertainment in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and features two events: The 6-Star Supergirl Pro Junior surf contest in Oceanside, CA on August 13 and the Supergirl Jam Skate and Snow competitions in Venice Beach on August 21.
 

 

The Supergirl Jam is action sports' only large-scale, all-female competition and lifestyle series, showcasing more than 100 of the world's top female pros in surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding and inline skating. The contests are designed to empower young women by celebrating their strength, creativity and intelligence.

Dew Tour: Lizzie Armanto & Leticia Bufoni

Lizzie Armanto and Leticia Bufoni both held their own skating with guys this weekend at the Portland Dew Tour stop!

Leticia placed 24th in the street qualifier of 30 and Lizzie placed 12th of 35 in the bowl qualifier which moved her into the Semi-Final.  Congratulations girls!

Get Well Soon Lacey!

Lacey Baker hurt her knee while in Europe skating the World Cup contests earlier this month and will be unable to skate in X Games 17 today.  Get well soon Lacey!

Also sending well wishes to Evelien Bouiliiart and Lorena Lima who will also be missing this year's contest due to injuries.
