The Poseiden Foundation Oahu, 2012 Tour
With Education budget cuts and economic hardships Poseiden Foundation has always pushed the envelope when it comes to community giving. Every year, we give back to the youth in our communities by bringing motivational, inspirational speakers to schools, orphanages, city skate parks and community outreach programs to Empower the youth in staying positive about following their dreams.
January 10th-15th 2012, Poseiden Foundation will heading to Oahu to empower the youth by teaming-up with professional athletes, Cara-Beth Burnside, Abisha Alshebaiki and Poseiden Foundation Board of Director, Jen O’Brien and entrepreneurs, Angela Rabreau (Biomed) Scientific Research Supply Company, James Sasiadek (Directors of Fun) Hawaii Eco-Tourism Guided Company, Jeff “Mana” Walthall Action Sports and Underwater photographer, and business owner Matt Reynolds Local 808 Entertainment on a 5- day inspirational tour around the island. We will be visiting Kahuku High School, Kailua Elementary, Kalaheo High School and Kamaile Academy Academy to motivate the youth to go for their dreams.
Each Poseiden Representative on the tour will be answering three questions. 1. What inspires them? 2. What motivates them? Lastly, What do they do to give back to the community? Each speaker will elaborate on their learning experiences and how through perseverance they have been able to fulfill their dreams onestep- at-a-time.
Our Goal, is to express that no matter where you come from, or your socio-economic background we all have one thing in common, Dreams and it’s the paths we take in order to successfully reach them that make the difference.
